CALASIAO, PANGASINAN — The president of Abono party-list was shot while on his way home in this town on Saturday night, December 7.
Ponciano Onia, Jr., 59, was driving his car along Lubong village on his way to his residence in Barangay (village) San Leon, Umingan when he was shot by still unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle at 7:45 p.m.
Article continues after this advertisementOnia sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to the Umingan Community Hospital but died at 8:40 p.m. while undergoing treatment.
